Pharmaceutical ingredients, fine chemicals and intermediates

The most significant production methods of the chemical industry, in particular pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals, can be divided into two product groups:

Free Flowing products,
with free moisture:

Crystalline and powdery substances that contain the moisture within the individual particles on their surface and/or in pores within their surface.
Non Free Flowing products,
with bound moisture:

Amorphous, fibrous, pasty, easily agglomerating products with chemically bound moisture and/or moisture enclosed within the structure of the particles.
